Marjorie E. Bauschard Schember, age 93, of Erie, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Elmwood Gardens. She was born on November 18, 1922, in Erie, the daughter of the late Harvey E. and Ruth M. Stafford Bauschard. She was a private duty care giver for many years and had also worked at the Jacob Haller Co. She was a member of First Alliance Church and enjoyed sewing, oil painting, gardening, baking, and was a loving aunt, friend, and neighbor. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Samuel in 1990, two sisters; Doris DiFlippo, Thelma Oberlander, and one brother Robert Bauschard. She is survived by one daughter Terrilyn Holtkamp (Michael) of Titusville, FL, one son Samuel R. Schember (Linda) of Lexington, SC, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two special nieces; Janice Taccone and Joyce Pelton, and other nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the loving care Marjorie received at Elmwood Gardens. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Private interment Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers , memorial contributions may be made to Elmwood Gardens, Caring for Life Program, 2628 Elmwood Ave., Erie, PA 16508.
