Ronald E. Lethaby, age 95, of Millcreek Twp., passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016. He was born on March 18, 1921 in Erie, the son of the late Leonard G. and Marie Koch Lethaby. Ron was a member of the Army Air Corp during WWII and taught in the Millcreek Twp. School District for 33 years. He was a member of American Legion Post #773, was a former life member of the Siebenbuerger Club, the Presque Isle Wood Turners Club, the Elks Club, and the Erie Maennerchor Club. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Robert and Leonard Lethaby. Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Marcia Giegel Lethaby, three sons: Brian Lethaby (Janine) of Erie, Brent Lethaby of Millcreek Twp., and Brad Lethaby of Girard, three grandchildren; Amanda L. Fried (Jason), Charles C. Lethaby, Renee M. Lethaby, four great-grandchildren: Bella, Adam, Isaiah, and Jaida Fried, close family members; Lou Ann Lethaby and her son Michael Mittner, and several nieces and nephews. Private services were held at the convenience of the family by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Millcreek Paramedics Women’s Auxiliary, c/o West Lake Fire Dept., 3762 West Lake Rd., Erie, PA 16505.
