David “Dave” L. Langdon, age 68, of Millcreek Twp., formerly of McKean, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016, after an extended illness at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born on February 25, 1948 in Erie, the son of the late Raymond L. and Eleanor F. Cole Langdon. He was employed at Flex-Y-Plan for 27 years until his retirement. He was a member of Elevate Church, was a life member of the National Fisherman’s Club, the Sons of Lake Erie, and the NRA. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, reading, and his grandkids. He was preceded in death by one son Timothy Ray Langdon, one sister Deborah Oborski and one brother Glenn Hamilton. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Christine A. Wygant Langdon, one daughter Shana M. Burnett (Leon) of Erie, one son Dave E. Langdon (Janessa) of Millcreek, four grandchildren: Mikayla, Lukas, Logan, Lincoln, one sister Beverly Taylor (Ben) of Lake City, his mother-in-law Betty Wygant of Millcreek, one brother-in-law Gary Oborski of Erie and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until time of service there at 7:30 p.m. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
