Gerrell R. Dade age 36 of Erie, passed away on Sunday September 18, 2016, following a long and courageous battle with juvenile diabetes. He was born in Erie on June 12, 1980 a son of Eddie Dade and Margaret Robson.
Gerrell lived in Angola, NY for many years, he was extremely artistic and although his disease may have hindered him, he enjoyed his electronics and gaming.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Florine Sexauer.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his twin sister, Danae (Ben) LeVesconte of London, England; one brother, Michael (Jenny) Barr of Angola, NY and his grandfather, Grover Sexauer. He is further survived by his loving and extended family, which includes numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Erie, 16506 on Friday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service at 6:00 PM. Inurnment will be private and held at the convenience of the family in Erie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1128 State St. Suite 302 Erie, PA 16501.
