Richard L. “Sarge” Sargent
Richard L. “Sarge” Sargent, age 75, of Erie, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at UPMC-Hamot. He was born on January 30, 1941 in Erie, the son of the late Ernest B. and Katherine Knobloch Sargent. He was preceded in death by one sister Joice Roberts, two brothers; Glen and Ernest Sargent. He is survived by three sisters: Rose Vogel (Robert) of Millcreek, Betty Fabian (Bill) of NC, Ida Sayles (John) of Erie, three children: Vicky Leopold, Robert Sargent, and Christine Lewis, two grandchildren; Christine and Charles Lewis, Jr., nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 12:00 Noon until time of service there at 1:30 p.m. Interment Laurel Hill cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Girard Alliance Church, 229 Rice Ave., Girard, PA 16417.
