Catherine Marie Lawrence, age 71 of Grandview Manor, passed away there on Thursday December 1, 2016 with her loving family by her side, following a three-year battle with cancer. She was born in Erie on July 17, 1945 a daughter of the late William L. and Marion E. Alysworth Geertson.
Cathy worked in property management and retired from South Shore Place. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee, cards and trips to the casino.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Eugene Lawrence Sr. in 2012.
She is survived by her two children, Sandra M. Cenfetelli Lawrence and William L. Lawrence; one grandson, Adam Lawrence; four sisters, Florence Flickenger, Patricia Miller, Helen Walden and Peggy Vasilik; two brothers, John F. Geertson and William L. Geertson and numerous nieces and nephews
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday, from 4:00 PM until the time of the service at 6:00 PM. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
