Obituary of Charlotte I. Winslow

Charlotte I. Feidler Winslow, age 92, of Girard, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Pleasant Ridge Manor surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Harborcreek Twp. on November 6, 1924, the daughter of the late Casius and Genevieve Wilcox Feidler. Charlotte was a graduate of Harborcreek H.S. and was employed at Soudan Restaurant in Lawrence Park, the Boston Store, and for fifteen years she worked for the LCB first as a clerk and then as a manager. She enjoyed cooking, puzzles, playing cards, word searches, and spoiling her family. She loved cardinals and watching baseball and basketball games. She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Harris Winslow, Jr., one grandson Mark Winslow, and one sister Violet Averill Adams. She is survived by her son Ben Winslow III. (Sheila) of Girard, two grandsons; Eric Winslow (Amy Jablonski) of Erie, Kevin Winslow (Tammie) of Greene Twp.: seven great-grandchildren Matt, Mike, Tara, Cody, Kinley, KJ, Sarah, and several nieces. The family would like to thank all the medical staff on Unit A at Pleasant Ridge for the excellent care given to Charlotte and a thank you also to her personal care givers; Joy and Martha. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and are invited there on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. for the Funeral Service.
