Obituary of Melanie June Hall

Melanie June Kennelley Hall Melanie “Mel” June Kennelley Hall, age 54, of Millcreek Twp., passed away after an extended illness on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Erie on September 21, 1962, the daughter of Sally (Olszewski) and William Kennelley. She was employed at Avanti’s Restaurant and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Andrews R.C. Church. Mel enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. She is survived by her beloved husband Leroy Gerald Hall, Sr., her children; Christopher Sutton and Megan Meyer, her step-daughter Danielle Hall and step-son Leroy G. Hall, Jr., one sister Kim Glassman (Mike), and three brothers; Steve, Billy, Brian (Amy) Kennelley, three grandchildren; Henry, Charlie, and Oliver Sutton, and her step-grandchildren; Nathaniel, Morgan, Kylee, and Kyra. A special thank you to her best friend Cindi Porfilio-Sakuta. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Edward and Rose Olszewski, and Michael and June Feduska. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A private service and interment will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Erie Shriners Hospital for Children, 1645 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
