Obituary of Christopher Michael Woodward

Christopher Michael Woodward left family and friends on Thursday, May 25, 2017.  Christopher was the son of Jeanette (Brown) and Kevin O’Leary.  He was born on October 18, 1980 and was a 1999 honors graduate of East High School.

Christopher enjoyed AV classes and drama club while attending East, He also enjoyed WWF, WWE, Deadpool, Play Station, and spending time with his family and friends; especially his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Christopher is survived by four sisters: Victoria Woodward (Griffin Smith), Stephanie Woodward, Laura Herbstritt (Jeff Burchett), Lindsey O’Leary (Steven Foster) and two brothers; Phillip Herbstritt (Leann Gavlik), and Shane O’Leary (Brittany Hatt), six nieces: Jazmin, Aurora, Janelle, Ava, Gracie, and Abbey, three nephews; Jeremiah, Julian, and Xavier, one grandmother Shirley Brown, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Christopher was preceded in death by his grandfather Edward “Red” Brown on February 26, 2017, his step-father, David Herbstritt and two uncles; Shawn O’Leary and Bruce Sawtelle, and grandparents Thelma and Edward O’Leary.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and are invited there on Thursday, June 1, 2017 for the Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home or to the Sight Center of Northwest PA, 2545 West 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
