Obituary of Steven J. Stallsmith

Steven J. Stallsmith age 65 of Millcreek Twp., died peacefully at home with his family by his side on Wednesday August 30, 2017 from cancer.  He was born in Erie on September 1, 1951 a son of the late Albert and Esta June Monroe Stallsmith.

 

He worked for 20 years at LORD Corp., and retired in 2015 from Team Hardinger after 25 years of service.  Steve loved taking care of his home and family.

 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Stallsmith.

 

He is survived by his wife, Mary M. Fischer Stallsmith; his children, Steven T. Stallsmith, Kelly (Joe) Baldini, Heather Lattuca and Kimberly Maxon; seven grandchildren, Aiden Hallmark, Derik, Tanner and Katelyn Widomski, Nathan Maxon and Michael and Alexis Nazario.   

 

The family would like to thank the VNA Hospice Team, especially Kate Williams who Steve was always happy to see.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM, and are invited to a funeral service there on Saturday morning at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
