Headline: Beloved Wife, Mom and Grandma Jo.

Jo Ann (Kinsel) Mogel, age 65, of Erie, passed away suddenly, of natural causes, on Sunday, October 8, 2017. She was born in Erie, on November 18, 1951, daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Greenfield) Kinsel.

Jo Ann was a lifelong resident of Erie and was a devoted wife, mother and especially grandma.  She lived life to the fullest and dedicated her life to caring for, supporting and loving her family.  We were very blessed to have her in our lives.

Jo Ann recently retired from Morris Coupling Company where she was employed for nearly 20 years.  She enjoyed camping especially at Camp Fork.  She was an active participant in her grandkids' lives and was an example to us all on how to love unconditionally.  She will be sorely missed by so very many.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Fernandes.

She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Dennis Mogel, of Erie; son, Kerry Miller, wife Patty, of Edinboro; sisters, Patty Morrell, husband Matt of Erie, Diane Milligan, husband Mark of Layton, Utah; brother, Edward Kinsel, wife Sharon of Erie; three step-daughters, Becky Botelho, Brenda Garner and Emily Mogel all of Erie  and thirteen grandchildren, Zachery, Justin, Logan and Dakota Miller, Ashley, Andrew, Noah and Jack Botelho and Jonathan, Matthew, Ryan, Madeline and Aurelia Garner.  Jo Ann is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd., on Friday from 1 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.  Additional calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
