Hector L. Rosa


Hector L. Rosa, age 67, of Millcreek Twp., passed away peacefully on Monday, March 4, 2024, after a brief but sudden illness surrounded by his loving family and friends.

He was born in the Bronx, NYC, on January 29, 1957 to the late Domitila Cora.

He was employed at UPMC-Hamot and was a member of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church. He enjoyed hair dressing, gardening, seamstress, handyman, and salsa dancing.

He was a wonderful person, bright soul, who touched the lives of everyone he met. He had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor.

He is survived by the love of his life of over 30 years, Robert Carnahan, his sisters Yolanda Rosa Mack and Aida Rivera, his brother Alfredo Rosa (Lily), brothers-in-law Ron Carnahan (Adam), Bill Carnahan (Nora), nephews; Hector and Angel Rosa, his niece Anitra Rosa, and many great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, his mother-in-law Barbra Carnahan, a nephew Alfredo Rosa, Jr. and a brother-in-law William A. Mack, Sr.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 3 pm until 7 pm and are invited to St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 509 East 26th Street, Erie, PA 16504 on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11 AM for the Funeral Service. Interment Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
