Marlene Gale Gould Luthey On January 24, 2025, Marlene Gale Luthey, age 87, of Girard Twp., passed away and joined her husband, Robert K. Luthey in Heaven. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Flo Gould. She was born on October 23, 1937, in the town of Stanley, PA. She moved to Erie in 1952. Marlene is survived by her sister Charolette Banka, two sons; Mark Luthey (Debra), Scott Luthey (Christi), 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert K. Luthey, her parents Charles and Flo Gould, her sister Carol Crabb, and 2 grandchildren; Joshua and Sean Luthey. Through her life, she worked for WT Grant, Co., Millers Dept. Store, and Olin Mills. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was involved with the Christian Women’s and Women of Grace organizations. Her hobbies included: sewing, playing cards, cooking, and crafts. She also attended Bible studies. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Pleasant Ridge Manor of Girard for their loving and heartfelt care given to Marlene during her stay there. All private arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
