Tracy Louise Kuntz Covatto

Tracy L. Covatto, age 62, of Millcreek Twp., passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 after a ten-year courageous battle with Cancer. Like a true prize fighter, she was knocked down several times but she rose to the occasion and got back up on her feet.

She was born on February 2, 1962 in Erie, the daughter of Sandra J. Kuntz Tilman Varescak and the late Bernard F. Kuntz. She was preceded in death by both her paternal and maternal grandparents, one sister Brenda Nikolishen, one niece Jillian McCabe, and her father-in-law Alfred D. Covatto.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years Michael J. Covatto, one daughter Amelia T. Covatto, her sons; Michael B. Covatto, Dominick G. Covatto, Jordan A. Covatto, two sisters; Kimberly Reid (Dennis), Julie Miles (John), mothers-in-law; June Lepak, Joyce Covatto, step father Joseph Varescak, brother-in-law, Michael Nikolishen, other-in-laws: Fred (Mary), Tom (Samantha),Tom (Cara), Renee (Matthew), Andrea (Ben), Ashley (Rafeal), Anthony, her best companion dog Blue, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Covatto graduated from Fairview H.S. in June of 1980. She was also a graduate of Edinboro University. She was employed at Pennsylvania Career Links as a talent engagement specialist. She was VP of the family-owned business Erie Home Medical Equipment until it was sold. She was also an Office Mgr. at Edinboro Family practice for both Dr. Flick and Dr. Reusche.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 2 pm until 7pm and are invited there on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 12:45 for prayers followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Peter Cathedral, 230 West 10th Street, Erie, PA 16501 at 1:45 pm.
