Bernard “Ben” N. Pamula

Bernard “Ben” N. Pamula, age 95, of Lawrence Park Twp., passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at UPMC-Hamot. Ben graciously was an organ donor for CORE. He was born in Erie on December 6, 1929, the son of the late Emile and Agnes D. Romeckie Pamula.

He was a US Army veteran.

He was employed at the Hammermill Paper Co. for 49 years until his retirement.

He was a member of the Polish Falcons and Siebenbuerger Clubs. He was a member of St. Marks R.C. Church.

He was an excellent swimmer and was always the top Sr. swimmer in all his local and national swim meets.

He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Sons of Lake Erie and he also enjoyed hunting.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Mark Andrew Pamula, one grandson, Gregory B. Pamula, and two brothers; Clarence and Leonard Pamula.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years Dorothy A. Yadeski Pamula, two sons; Don B. Pamula and Gregory C. Pamula (Marie) both of Erie, three grandchildren: Kelsey Cunningham (Kyle), Jackie Pamula (Vince), Meghan Ore (Jeremy), four great-grandchildren: Kaylyn, Krew, Annie, and Kade.

Friends may attend a visitation from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 am at St. James R.C. Church, 2635 Buffalo Rd., Erie, PA 16510 on Monday, March 10, 2025. Private interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. All arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
