Gadiel Champ Torres With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved child, Gadiel Champ Torres who sadly but peacefully left our world to meet our God on Sunday, March 9, 2025. Leaving a void that can never be filled. Gadiel was 4 days old. Gadiel Champ Torres was born on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 in Pittsburgh, PA. Gadiel was a champ, a real champ like his beautiful name. He brought the real meaning of Champ into the lives of those who got the chance to meet him. Some of Gadiel’s favorite things was to hear Mommy and Daddy’s voice. You could see his beautiful smile and eyes twitching when they were around. Gadiel Champ is survived by his parents Karely Ortiz and Alex Torres, by his brothers and sister: Alex, Shakira, Jediel, and Julio, by his grandparents, Sandra Santos, Olga Andino and Nazario Ortiz. A Memorial Service to celebrate Gadiel Champ Torres will be held at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd., Erie, PA 16506 on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 5 pm until 7 pm. Gadiel will forever be loved and remembered for his Strength and we will miss or Champ dearly. Private interment at Edinboro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emma’s Footprints, 412 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16502.
