Lois J. Smith

Lois J Smith, age 89, of Millcreek, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025. Lois was born in Oil City, PA, on March 1, 1936, the daughter of the late Roy C. and Mary Fair Pearrell.

Lois was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Erie, where she served on various committees and supported missions throughout her 56 years of membership. Lois and her husband enjoyed camping with various camping clubs and travelling to Texas for the winter. She loved sewing and is known for quilts and bags. Lois retired from First National Bank.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Smith. Lois is survived by her three daughters: Jonelle Wilkins (Richard), Jeanette Smith, and Janine Frank-Korenic, two sisters; Fran Mansell, Mary Edna Brillhart, one brother, Roy Pearrell, three grandchildren: Rachel Wilkins, Benjamin Wilkins, and Jessica Frank, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Erie, 707 Sassafras Street on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 11 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:30 pm. Private interment will be held.

Arrangements are being handled through the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
