Obituary of Gilnor "Gil" Gay Deuvall Dalrymple

Gilnor “Gil” Gay Deuvall Dalrymple Gilnor Dalrymple, age 96, of Thornton, CO, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 after a brief illness. She was born on November 16, 1928 in East Liverpool, OH, the daughter of the late Fred and Elizabeth Shumburger Deuvall. She was a graduate of Syracuse University in Business Education and taught school for 6 years in Albion and Springboro. After moving to CO Gil was employed with the Colorado State Fish and Wildlife Commission. She enjoyed attending shipmates’ reunions with her husband Del as he was a WWII Navy veteran. She continued traveling after his death. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Delbert “Del” Dalrymple in 1997, her sister Billie Ann (Deuvall) Reiter, and one brother Tom Deuvall. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 12:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service there at 1:00 pm. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.
