Antonina Melnik

Antonina Opanasivna Melnik, age 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025 with her family by her side. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Antonina is survived by her husband Sofron, 5 children: Alex and Olga, Lyuba, Yaroslav and Inna, Nikolay and Svitlana, Tamara and Mykola, 16 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

Antonina was an active member of the Erie First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church. She loved the Lord with all her heart. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted” – Matthew 5:4. Antonina enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 29 at 7 PM at Erie First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church. The burial service will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 10 am at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd followed by interment at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
