Obituary of Monica Christa Silberman Concilla

Monica Christa Silberman Concilla Monica Christa Concilla, age 83, of Erie, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, at her residence at St. Mary’s at Asbury Ridge. She was born in Germany on May 16, 1941, the daughter of the late Alfred and Charlotte Silberman. She has been an Erie resident since 1950 after surviving the Holocaust. She was employed at the Elderkin Law Firm and was a member of Temple Anshe Hesed and most recently Faith Lutheran Church. Monica’s love for her family was paramount for her, she loved reading, and all of her four-legged pets who were her constant companions To anyone who met Mom, she always had a radiating smile and she made anyone feel like an instant friend. She always welcomed all four-legged friends with open arms. Monica’s passing has left a void in our lives but leaves all of us the wisdom of unconditional love. She is survived by three sons: Michael of Naples, FL, Mark (Renee) of Erie, Sam (Linda) of Erie, her grandchildren: Christa Allen (Matthew), Nicholas, Anthony (Danielle), Gregory (Kay), Charlotte, and Matthew, her great-grandchildren: Jack, Lottie, and Sully whom she loved very much, and her dear friends; Kathy and Tiffany. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 2 pm until the time of a Memorial Service at 4 pm and then further visitation from 6 pm until 8 pm.
