Gary Retkowski

Gary Retkowski, beloved father, grandfather, and uncle, left this earth on Thursday, May 29, 2025. He was born on April 30, 1957, in San Diego, California. He was the youngest of three boys born to the late Edward John Retkowski and Wilma Dolnack Retkowski Mckeeton. As a member of a Navy family, Gary lived in many places as a child, he spoke most often of his fond memories in Hawaii. He resided in Erie, PA most of his life. Gary is a proud graduate of Technical Memorial High School, class of 1976. Gary loved traveling, seeing movies, and spending time with his daughters and taking them on memorable vacations. Gary loved spending time during the holidays with his family and always enjoyed a good meal. Gary is survived by his two daughters; Jessica McNally (Steven), grandson: James McNally, Jennifer Brown (Joe), 3 nephews: Matthew Retkowski, David Retkowski, and Elliot Retkowski all of Erie. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Thomas Retkowski and Allen Retkowski. Private services were conducted by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Erie Zoo, 423 W. 38th Street Erie, PA 16508
