David Wayne Reynolds

David Wayne Reynolds, 87, of Erie, PA, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, surrounded by family at his home. A celebration of life service will take place at Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 12 p.m. visiting hours begin at 11:00 a.m. A short graveside service will follow in Russell, Pennsylvania at Pine Grove Cemetery.

Born in Warren, PA, on April 10, 1938, Dave enjoyed a 28-year career with National Fuel and retired in 1996 as a General Manager. Dave was in the class of 1956 at Warren High School, served four years in the U.S. Airforce, and was a longtime member of the Warren barbershop community, The Conewango Clippers, and placed in several international barbershop competitions with his quartet, The Instigators.

Dave became a Christian in 1973 and moved to Erie, Pennsylvania where he served as an elder at Grace Baptist Church and taught many home Bible studies. Dave’s greatest hope was that others would come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Dave is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Sue Reynolds; his children, Kelly Reynolds (LeaAnn), Jamey Reynolds (Lisa), and Jill White (Brent); and his brother, Ralph Reynolds.

He was a proud grandfather to D.J. Reynolds (HollieShea), Kami Mercer (Davis), Kariann Reynolds, Mitchell Reynolds, Ben Reynolds, Landon Reynolds, Alison White, Jett Reynolds (Brooke), Emily White, and Nuriya Reynolds, as well as step-granddaughters Katie and Larissa. He was also blessed with four great-grandchildren. He was also a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Roy W. Reynolds and Bessie Reynolds (Groves); and his siblings, Marion, Jack, Eugene, Elwood, Betty, Shirley, and Bud.
