Robert Edward Lee

Robert Edward Lee, age 86, of Fairview Twp., passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at his residence. He was born on June 2, 1939, in Ebensburg, PA, and was the son of the late Anna Rose (Rennie) and Robert E. Lee of Mahaffey, PA.

He graduated from Laurel High in New Castle, PA and joined the Army in 1958 and was stationed in Germany in the 530 Engineer Corp Company.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Ann and her husband Ronald Miller, of Ebensburg, PA, a brother-in-law, Jim Wigton, and a nephew Jesse Lee.

Bob was owner-operator of his tractor trailers for Ericon Corp. Although he retired in 2018, after 22 years with Butler Trucking, he kept working for Fed Ex.

He belonged to the American Legion Post #773, The Joy Senior Center, and Asbury Seniors.

Bob was a true American patriot. He was a proud Christian and veteran who loved this country. He loved to volunteer and help kids with Hunt of a Lifetime and recently drove patients for the DAV. He worked for Embracing Our Veterans and was a mentor to Vets in Veterans Court.

He adored his family, had a big heart, and was very generous.

Bob loved going to Mahaffey, PA hunting camp and getting together with relatives and friends recalling countless “deer tales” and getting that buck!

He is survived by his wife Isabelle (Liz) Kolivoski Lee and they just celebrated 57 years of marriage.

He is also survived by two sons, Brian and (Rosemary) of Dade City, FL, Eric and (Christine) of Holly Springs, NC, and a daughter Wendy Ann and (Eric) Thomas of Spotsylvania, VA, six grandchildren: Jonathan, Hannia, Abby, Wyatt, Michelle, and Melanie, and eight great-grandchildren.

In keeping with Bob’s wishes, his body was donated to science and there will be no Memorial Service or calling hours. The Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. handled all the arrangements. The family is grateful for everyone who helped with his care, especially the VA team and Family Hospice team.
