Karen M. Schrimper Rhoades

Karen M. Rhoades, age 77, of Millcreek Twp., passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at UPMC-Hamot. She was born in Erie on October 13, 1947, the daughter of the late Howard and Margaret Schrimper.

Karen was a 1965 graduate of McDowell H.S. and worked for the Millcreek School District at a number of schools.

She was a member of the Fairview Garden Club and Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church.

Karen enjoyed puzzles and reading.

She is survived by her beloved husband Richard G. Rhoades, one son David Rhoades and one daughter Kristie Oelschlager (Keven), and two grandchildren; Kamron and Ashley.

Friends may visit the family at St. Julia Church, 638 Roslyn Ave., Erie, PA 16505 on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 10:30 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

All arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
