Nancy Ann DiCola
Nancy Ann DiCola, 87, of Erie, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in Flowood, MS, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Erie and lived a life full of spontaneous fun, love, laughter, and a dedication to her family.
Nancy grew up in Erie and graduated from McDowell High School. She married Edward DiCola, and together they built a life filled with hot air balloon rides, boating trips, and RV expeditions all across the nation. Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She spent her time volunteering at her local church St. Paul’s Lutheran in Millcreek Twp.; helping the needy with the Meals-on-Wheels, helping children as a CASA volunteer, assisting the staff at Hamot Hospital wherever she was needed, leading and organizing the local bridge crews, and hosting family or friend gatherings with lots of card games. Her contagious laughs, warm smile, quick wit, or honest opinion left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Nancy is survived by her children: Hollie Davis (husband Carlas Davis) and Mark Tinsman (wife Laura Tinsman), her grandchildren: Shannon Sims (husband Paul Sims), Christopher Tinsman (wife Divya Tinsman), Jackie Tinsman, and Ashley Kennedy (husband Andrew Kennedy), her sibling, Richard Feidler (wife Lois Feidler), and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life Dr. Edward DiCola and her loving mother Katherine Delores Feidler.
Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Road in Erie. Visitation will be from 11:30 am until 1:30 am with a Funeral Service immediately following at 1:30 pm. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Nancy’s life was a testament to the pursuit of happiness and the power of love. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
