Thomas William Reed

Thomas William Reed “That Damn Tom Reed”, age 83, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at his McKean Twp. residence after an extended illness.

He was born in Warren, OH on December 17, 1941, the son of the late Francis and Grace Stevenson Reed.

He was employed at Firch Baking Co. (Stroehmans) and Waste Management.

He enjoyed fishing, lawn mowers, tractors, and police cars.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Rosella Wagner, and three brothers: Richard, Alan, and Mulford Reed.

He is survived by his beloved wife Darla Mary Coffelt Reed, his children: Stephanie Reed, Kimberly Timon (Chris), Suzanna Lipsey (Bob), Angela Davis (David Grandinetti), and Russell Gaylord (Shannon), two brothers; Daniel and Wilbert “Red” Reed, one sister Patricia Mattocks, nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one great- great- grandchild, and many nieces and nephews whom he would always tell them “I’m going to hang you on a hook”.

Private arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd, Erie, PA 16506.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
