James B. Wieczorek

James B. Wieczorek, age 54, of Erie, passed away surrounded by his family the night of Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born in Erie, PA, on May 4, 1971, the son of James (Jim) Wieczorek and Gae Ann Wieczorek.

Jamie started his career at Hi-Tech as a CNC toolmaker and ended his career at Wabtec. He was a McDowell graduate of 1989 and excelled in track and football. His love for sports continued throughout his life and he was faithful Cleveland sports fan.

Jamie was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also loved music, playing his many guitars, and writing songs. Jamie was the type of person who was talented at anything he tried. He had a unique and humorous perspective on life and loved to make others laugh and smile.

Jamie was a committed father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his son, Hunter Wieczorek, his daughter, Madison Wieczorek, their mother, Jennifer Wieczorek, his father, Jim Wieczorek, his mother, Gae Ann Wieczorek, two sisters; Lori Allen (Rich Allen) and Stacy Abate (Jay Abate), four nieces, Katie Flowers, Kassidy Allen, Abbie Allen, and Maria Abate, and one nephew, Max Abate.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 4 pm until 7 pm and are invited to St. Julia R. C. Church, 638 Roslyn Ave., Erie, PA 16505, for the Funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 10 am. Entombment Calvary Cemetery.
