Sandra Adams Hedges

Sandra Adams Hedges (“Sandy”), age 82, of Erie, died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, January 8, 2026.

She was born in Erie on November 16, 1943, the daughter of the late Dallas Adams and Donna Mason Adams Swenson. Sandy spent most of her life in Wesleyville, where she was employed at Kmart on Buffalo Road, retiring when she was 62.

Sandy was very close to her family and survived by her sister, Diana Adams Brady of Erie, with whom she shared a special bond. She is also survived by her three daughters: Shari Hodges of Millcreek, Melissa Lucas and her husband Timothy of Waterford, and Dee Anna Bond and her husband Mike of Harborcreek.

In addition, Sandy is survived by three grandchildren: Richard Hodges, Abigail Mackowski and her husband Justin, and Brittany Walsh.

Sandy was kind, hardworking, and always did the best she could with what she had, and she will be deeply missed.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 2 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 5 pm. at the Dusckas Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Road, Erie 16506.
