Jill K. Gauley Thomas

Jill K. Gauley Thomas, age 63, of McKean Twp., passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh after a courageous battle with cancer, with her family by her side.

Jill was born on September 4, 1962, in Shreveport, LA.

She was preceded in death by her father, John B. Gauley and her mother, Kathryn E. Beatty Gauley.

She is survived by her husband, Howard Thomas of McKean, her brother, Charles “Chuck” Gauley of Erie, and her daughters; Tiffany R. Troup Earl (Damien) of McKean and Nicole L. Thomas (Ryan Ziegler) of Erie.

Jill was a proud grandmother to: Gage Hagerty, Lucien Earl, Cameron Earl, Persyus Earl, Izzabella Guras, Gavin Guras, Timothy Niemi, Jr, Emil Michael Michaelczik, and Chloe Michaelczik.

Jill had a deep love for her dogs and found joy in music; having played the guitar in her younger years. She cherished sunshine and warm summer days, finding peace and comfort in their simple beauty. She will be remembered for her bright smile and her unforgettable laugh, which left a lasting impression on those who heard it.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved her.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd., Erie, PA 16506 on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 1:30 pm until 4 pm. Private interment.
