Phyllis Jane Hess Siwiecki

Phyllis Jane Siwiecki, age 82, of McKean, PA, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 23, 2026, at McKinley Health Center in Brookville, PA. She was born on February 28, 1943, in McKeesport, PA, the daughter of the late Paul and Evelyn C. Whitmore Hess.

She resided in McKean until 2011 where she moved to Clarion, PA until her death.

She was employed at Giant Eagle. Faith was a cornerstone of her life. She was a Cruisillo leader, a CCD teacher, a member of St. Francis Xavier RC Church and St. Charles Church in New Bethlehem, PA. Her favorite saying was “God Bless You.” She enjoyed music, cooking, bingo, and spending time with her family.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David Anthony Siwiecki, two sisters Lorna O’Brien, Kim (Theresa) Hess, three brothers; Richard, Kenneth, and Paul Hess. She is survived by her children: Karen Roberts, Michelle Welde (Joel), Marsha Louder (David), Amy Westerman (Corey), David Siwiecki, Daniel Siwiecki (Jennifer), and Matthew Siwiecki (Dyan), sixteen grandchildren: Danielle McDunn, Brittney, Christopher (Erica), and Michael Welde, Rachael Pezzuti (Jesse), Ryan, and Anthony Louder, Bodi Ross, Connor, Morgan, and Carson Westerman, Jacob, Justin, Jesse, Jayden Siwiecki, and Owen Siwiecki, four great-grandchildren: Ariyah, Benjamin, Eli, and Jordana.

Private services will be held at St. Francis Xavier RC Church in McKean with interment at St. Francis Cemetery. All arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Laurelbrooke Landing’s Memory Unit, 133 Laurelbrooke Dr., Brookville, PA 15825, in Phyllis' name.
