Helen L. Donley Carlson

Helen L. Donley Carlson, age 99, of Millcreek Twp., passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026. She was born in Washington Twp., PA, on May 15, 1926, the daughter of the late Roland and Emma Smith Donley.

Helen was employed at McKean Elementary School’s cafeteria and she enjoyed bowling, and watching Pittsburgh sports teams.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Carlson, one granddaughter Melissa Armstrong Carlson, one sister Gloria Campbell, and one brother Rollie Donley.

She is survived by two sons; Charles “Chuck” Carlson (Marysue), Clifford “Kip” Carlson (Charlotte), seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Valley Cemetery, Dunn Valley Rd., McKean, PA 16509, on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 2 pm. Arrangements handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
