Susan “Sue” Elias

Susan “Sue” Elias, age 74, of Millcreek Twp., passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, after an extended illness.

She was born in Bradford, PA on October 16, 1951, the daughter of the late Martha Mae Johnson and Alexander B. Elias.

She worked as a nurse’s aide at the Ball Pavilion.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist R. C. Church and enjoyed listening to music, singing in the church choir, and baking.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Kerr, one daughter, Mary Elias, one brother, Richard Elias, and her foster mother, Frances Gene Hall.

She is survived by two children; Tabatha Nelson (John), Bud Spank Elias, one sister, Mary Ann Weiherer, one brother, David Elias, four grandchildren: Tommie Elias (Olivia), Alera Nelson-Elias, Amaiya Nelson, and Baby John Nelson.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd., Erie, PA 16506, on Monday, April 20, 2026 from 11 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 2 pm. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
