Christyne Diane Crossman Stubenhofer

Christyne Diane Crossman Stubenhofer, was born on December 15, 1947. She entered her glorious reward on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, after a brief illness. Chris was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Sara (Ackerman) Crossman. Chris is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Greg) Palmer and her son, Richard (Heather) Stubenhofer, five grandchildren: Jerica, Alaxandra, Chelsa, Kayla, and Robert, fifteen great-grandchildren, and four siblings: Wendy (Kevin) Alloway, Scott (Miriam) Crossman, Janis (Jeffery) Weyand, and Jeff Crossman.

Chris was a loving mom and dedicated nurse, obtaining her RN degree while raising a family. She initially worked at St. Vincent urology and then retired from Renal Care where she served her patients with loving care.

Our mom was incredibly generous, opening her home to many who may have needed a place to temporarily stay. Mom’s biggest joy was her dogs, inviting elderly neighbors and friends for family dinners, camping, lying in the sun, and all things Disney.

Mom loved Jesus and was anxious to receive her heavenly body, breathing easy, and from pain. Grateful for your heavenly reward, mom, but you will be dearly missed.

Friends and family may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Sunday, May 24, 2026 from 2 pm until 3:30 pm. Interment at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
