Arthur W. Stark

In loving memory of Arthur W. Stark, who passed away on July 12, 2026, in his Fairview, PA home. He was born Aug. 5, 1946 and raised in Ashtabula, Ohio by parents Joseph C. Stark and Lucile Andrews Stark, both deceased. He has one surviving sister, Patricia Stark, of Ashtabula. He is predeceased by two brothers, Allan Stark and Carl Stark.

He is survived by his wife Carol Rogers Stark, whom he married in 1968, along with their two sons, Aaron (Christina) Stark (Merrimack, NH) and their children Max, Molly and Micah; and Neal (Amy) Stark (West Chester OH) and their children Emma (Luke) Warth, Katherine and Elizabeth Stark.

With both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Kent State University, Art’s career started in Industrial Engineering, leading to marketing management, including president of a paint brush manufacturing company in Maryland, and spending the end of his 40-year career in general business consulting.

After accepting Jesus as his Savior as an adult, Art’s life centered around Bible study and service to the Lord. He enjoyed being church treasurer for many years, and being a deacon and elder in more recent years. Art taught classes to teens, the deaf, and adults, in several different churches as his career relocated the family, finally landing in Fairview, PA.

He enjoyed teaching and playing board games with his grandchildren and loved watching college basketball, recording every March Madness game.

The family expresses deep appreciation to Asera Care Hospice.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 10 am until time of the Memorial Service at 11 am.
