Jean McCullough Morrison


Jean McCullough Morrison, age 85, of Millcreek Twp., died Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Manchester Presbyterian Lodge. She was born on June 11, 1924, the daughter of the late Frank M. and Lillian Barron McCullough.


Mrs. Morrison graduated from Academy High School mid - year class of 1942 and attended the former Erie Commercial College. She worked as a legal secretary for 24 years retiring in 1985. She had also worked at the former Erie Resistor. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Westminster Lunch Bunch, Pioneer Church Garden Club, Erie Maennerchor Auxiliary, and Silver Sneakers at the Glenwood YMCA.


She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Morrison, who died November 21, 1990, and a sister Joan Zech, who died on December 18, 2009. Survivors include one son, James R. Becker, Millcreek, a grandson, James A. Becker, his wife Tanya, a great grandson, Zachery J. Becker, all of Albion, a step-son, J. Michael Morrison, Seattle, Wash., a brother, Robert B. McCullough, wife Gay, of Fairview, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.


Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and are invited there on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. for the funeral service. Interment Erie Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 3108 Sterrettania Rd., Erie, PA 16506.
