Mary Ann Zimmer Biel

Mary Ann Zimmer Biel, age 66, of Millcreek Twp., died Sunday, November 8, 2009. She was born in Erie on June 10, 1943, the daughter of the late, Chester and Catherine Repoff Zimmer.

She was a 1961 graduate of McDowell High School. She was a dedicated employee of Steris Corp. until her recent illness. She enjoyed her co-workers very much. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace RC Church and enjoyed her grandchildren, country music, her poodles and cats, and shopping.

She is survived by one daughter, Michelle Hetrick (David) of Lawrence Park, one son, Kevin M. Biel (Michelle) of Millcreek Twp., three grandchildren: Alexxis, Addisyn, and Karson Biel. She was preceded in death by two brothers; William and Richard Zimmer.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. for the funeral service. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.
