Carol A. Davis, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at UPMC-Hamot. She was born in Erie on April 15, 1955, the daughter of Kenneth Rohler, Sr. of Erie and the late Faith Rohler. Carol graduated from McDowell High School and JH Thompson Academy. She worked at the Erie Thrifty Shopper on State St. for many years and most recently was employed at Presque Isle Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Carol enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family and friends. She was a light in everyone's life and will be missed dearly.
Besides her father, she is survived by her husband, Joseph Davis, two brothers; Raymond Rohler (Jill), Kenneth Rohler, Jr. (Sandy), two daughters; Amy L. Falk (Eric Bennett), Christine M. Aaron DiGiunta (Antonio), five grandchildren: Aaron, Kyle, Carrissa "Squirrel", Ryan, Alex, two great-grandchildren; Audrianna, Carter, half-sisters; Judy, Sue, special friends; Judy Velez, Sue Ulrick, Bob Hermann and many other close friends and extended family. Private services were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
