Paul W. Albert


Paul W. Albert found his final peace on October 22, 2010 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 81. He was born on November 23, 1928 in Erie, the son of the late, Louis and Ida Albert.


He is survived by his wife, of 46 years, June E. Albert; daughters: Gayle Ketzel of Edmonds, WA, Susan Naylor of Boerne, TX, and Barbara Ketzel of Fall City, WA; one sister, Ann Bednar and her husband, Michael of Erie; one brother, Louis Albert and his wife, Mary, of Mentor, OH, one sister-in-law, Louise Gunther of Erie. He is the grandfather to Robert Dobson of Seattle, WA and Christopher Sakaguchi of San Antonio, TX; he was also a proud uncle of three nieces and nine nephews.


He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was employed as a letter carrier with the US Postal Service. He especially enjoyed classical music and woodworking.


A Memorial service was held Monday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home Chapel in San Antonio, TX.


Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday, October 29, from noon until time of Memorial Service there at 2:30 p.m. Inurnment Laurel Hill Cemetery.
