Lawrence “Larry” W. Shadle, age 57, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at his residence. He was born on October 1, 1957, the son of the late John F. and Elsie Jenney Shadle. Larry was a graduate of Triangle Tech and was employed at various local companies. He enjoyed music, playing his guitar, and writing music. He loved to play with his grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife Colleen O’Grady-Shadle, one daughter Charity H. Shadle-Dipko (Christopher) of Millcreek, one son Lamoyne R. Shadle (Tabitha) of Erie, three grandchildren: Autumn M. Dipko, Storm and Spencer Shadle, one sister Susan Rivera of Erie, two brothers; John H. Shadle of Linesville, PA, David A. Shadle (Elaine) of Erie, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by two brother; Lemoyne R. Shadle, James E. Shadle, and one great-grandson Lemoyne R. Shadle. Private services were held at the convenience of the family by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd., A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home to help defray costs for the celebration of Larry’s life.
