Patricia A. Lamberton, 59, Bradenton, FL died November 3, 2015. Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, she moved to Bradenton in 2015 from North Carolina. Predeceased by her mother, Leona A. (Afford) Lamberton; survived by husband of 28 years, Kenneth T. McGregor of Bradenton, FL; father, Dr. William D. (Judith) Lamberton of Erie, PA. brothers, Dr. William F. (Dr. Kathleen Erb) of Pittsburgh, PA and Richard F. (Joan) of Erie, PA and nieces and nephews. In New Bern, NC, she worked as an administrator for Public Radio East, an NPR station. She was known for adopting rescue dogs including Darla, her and Ken’s Great Dane, and her volunteer work, particularly at public libraries and Neighbor Ride. Only moving to Bradenton two month ago, she was already donating her time to Bradenton Public Library. She was also a jewelry maker, working in glass, ceramics and metal. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 2 p.m. until time of Celebration of Life for Patricia at 3:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Public Radio East at 800 College Court, New Bern, NC 28562 or publicradioeast.org or a charity of your choice.
