Obituary of Devin Ray Hooker

Devin Ray Hooker, 52, passed away unexpectedly on February 24, 2016 at Saint Vincent Hospital. Devin was born May 16th, 1963 in Sacramento California to Roy & Wanda (McClelland) Hooker. He was raised in Antioch California and attended Antioch High School. Devin’s pride came in his beloved children. He devoted himself to them and they were always first in his thoughts. Devin was a very hard worker who always enjoyed fishing, spending time with his children, and NASCAR where he was a devoted #24 fan. Devin was preceded in death by his mother Wanda Hooker Barcinas and his step mother Shirley Hooker. Devin is survived by his father Roy Hooker and his children Johnnie, Roy, Wanda and Sarah. Siblings include Russell & Lori Hooker, Shawncie (Hooker) Frieson, Deanna (Hooker) & Bill Goodeill, Terri Hooker, Eric & Doris Barcinas, and Gina (Barcinas) & Eric Gonzales. Devin also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. and condolences can be made at www.dusckasmartinfuneralhome.com. There will be no formal services per Devin’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
