Mark M. Sharpe, age 61, of McKean Twp., passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Erie on August 19, 1954, the son of the late James R. and Anna Ciko Sharpe. Mark was a 1972 graduate of McDowell H.S. and was employed at Eriez Magnetics. He was a member of the Gem City Outdoorsmen Club and enjoyed archery shooting and hunting.
He was preceded in death by one brother Jim Sharpe.
He is survived by one daughter Nicole M. Hinschmann (Benjamin) of McKean Twp., one son Matthew M. Sharpe (Shannon) of Erie, four grandchildren: Taylor, Gunner, Reese, and June, one sister Becky Duino (Micky) of Rochester, NY, and several nieces and nephews.
Private services were conducted at the convenience of the family by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to NAMI of Erie County, 1611 Peach Street, Suite 105, Erie, PA 16501.
