My Greatest Accomplishment is My Family Geoffrey “Geoff” E. Potter, Sr., Age 69, of Millcreek Twp., passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016, quietly in his home. He was born on December 15, 1946, the son of the late Raymond and Charlotte Zuck Potter. He will always be remembered as a loving Husband, Devoted Father, Be-loved Brother and Adoring Grandfather, whose greatest accomplishment he always said was his family. He was retired from Zurn Industries, where he worked for 44 years. He was very active, as he enjoyed golfing, camping, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family and his beloved dogs, esp. his baby boy Sam. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed watching his favorite football team, the New England Patriots. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 42 years, Carole A Rugare Potter. He is survived by his beloved sister, Judy Esser; his loving children, Mary S. Swisher of Millcreek, Carole Leigh Smith and her husband, Bob, of Millcreek, and Geoffrey E. Potter, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer of Lake City, Pa., as well as his six wonderful Grandchildren: Mark, Sara, Katie, Paige, Emily, and Samantha (Abby). Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2016, from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Memorials may be made to Regional Home Health and Hospice, 2564 Village Common Dr., Erie, PA 16506.
