Frank Michael “Slacker” Summers, age 40, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly in Nashville, TN on Thursday, September 22, 2016 during his employment. He was born in Erie on February 5, 1976, the son of Cathy Dowling of Millcreek and the late Ronald Cox, and his late step-father Gene Dowling. Frank was employed at Dovetail Gallery. He enjoyed hunting, helping people, darts, sports, and the WWE; especially Stone Cold. He is survived by his loving wife Michelle Summers, two children; Jonathan and Dakota, one god son Wyatt Drozeski, three brothers:” Dallas Summers (Gissella), Joseph Summers, Scott Drozeski (Nicole), brother-in-law Kenneth MacNabb, one step-sister Janine Dowling, and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by one uncle Roger Cox.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until a time of remembrance at 7:00 p.m. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
