Obituary of Jonathan D. Sayles

Jonathan D. Sayles age 77 of Erie, passed away following an extended illness on Tuesday January 31, 2017, at the VA Medical Center. He was born in Detroit, MI on June 28 1939, a son of the late Erwin L. and Marion Richards Sayles.
Jon proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a lifelong salesman and was the former owner of the Attic on 10th and State. Jon was a member of Temple Anshe Hesed.
He is survived by his wife, Ida Mae Sayles; children, Jeremy (Fran) Sayles, Diane (Keith) Larson, Beverly Keech and Angelique Bayletts; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home 536 West 10th St., on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time on the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow with full military honors in Anshe Hesed Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Temple Anshe Hesed 930 Liberty St. Erie, PA 16502, Shriners Hospital for Children 1645 West 8th St. Erie, PA 16505, or the charity of one’s choice.
