Helen Harriet Hovey, age 84, of Millcreek Township, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic surrounded by her loving family.  Helen, daughter of Edmund and Ethel Reider Hovey, was born on June 6, 1932 in Akron, Ohio.  She worked for VanAir and was the owner of Copies Now in Erie.  Helen was a member of the Women’s Roundtable and served as past president of the AAUW.  She enjoyed gardening, history, reading, and travel.  Helen was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children Todd Nelson of Millcreek and Shane Nelson (Sandra) of Washington, D.C., and five grandchildren, Jennifer Tregaskis (Ronald), Jim Nelson (Danae), Nathaniel Blank (Remy), Joshua Nelson, and Jon Blank (Kristin), and many great-grandchildren.  Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Road, on Saturday, April 29, 2017, from 11:30 A.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 P.M.  Private interment will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park in Akron, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the AAUW Scholarship Fund (checks made to “Adella B.
