Margaret J. Hanna Kaehler, of Millcreek Township, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, June 25. She was born in Batavia, New York on April 2, 1929 to the late Howard and Margaret Klossner Hanna. She graduated from Waterford High School and Hamot Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed by Hamot Hospital and the Lutheran Home for the Aged. Margaret was active in the church ministries of choir and the Patchwork of Love quilting group at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She and her husband enjoyed extensive travel throughout the United States.

Margaret is survived by her three daughters Barbara Grosch (Gary) of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, Sandra Texter (Mark) of Tipp City, Ohio, and Kristine Geibel (Conrad) of Leesburg, Virginia; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William E. Kaehler, sister Jean C. Hanna, and brother Howard C. Hanna.

Friends are invited to call at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 3108 Sterrettania Road Erie, PA 16506, on Friday, June 30 from 6 – 8 p.m. Services will be held there on Saturday, July 1 at 11 a.m. Arrangements are under the care of the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd.

Private inurnment will be at Girard Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
