Please share a memory of Harold "Hal" to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Harold “Hal” Hewitt Harold “Hal” Hewitt, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother, father in-law, and friend, passed on Sunday, October 15, 2023. Hal will be sorely missed by his loving wife, Julie, children: Heidi and son-in-law Patrick, Lesley and son-in-law Jeffery. He was especially proud of his grandchildren: Joshua, his wife Sarel, Sarah and her fiancé Geno, and Rachel, his great-grandchildren; Juliana and Luke. His wisdom, positive support, and warmth will thrive in the memories living on within these generations and with his many friends. Because of his irrational fear that his family would throw him an elaborate funeral despite his hatred for it, his family will hold a service at a later date. Visitation will be held at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Road, Erie, PA 16506 on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 4-7 p.m. Friends and family are welcome. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/). Hal cared deeply about helping others in need and this is what he would have wanted.
