Obituary of John "Jack" Robert Fecek

John “Jack” Robert Fecek John “Jack” Robert Fecek, age 66, left this world to be with his Lord on Sunday, October 15, 2023. Jack was born on September 22, 1957 in Uniontown, PA, to the late Joseph A. and Mayona (Pike) Fecek. He was the youngest of 8 children. Jack married the love of his life, his other half, Kimberly S. (nee Miller) Fecek on June 7, 1980. He is the father to Emily N. Fecek, engaged to Justin Zipnock and Anthony R. Fecek, married to Jordan (Colton) Fecek. Jack was a fierce and faithful believer in Jesus Chris for over 40 years. He served as an elder at the Erie Church of Christ for nearly half that time and truly embodied the spirit of service. Jack lived up to his name as a “Jack of all trades” because there wasn’t a single problem he couldn’t find a solution for but his talent and love was working with cars. Jack would help anyone with anything and never expected anything in return. He was a strong force who will be missed in this world. Including his immediate family, Jack leaves behind three grandchildren: Oliver Fecek, Raelynn Colton, and Wilbur Zipnock, three brothers: Ronald (Caroline) Fecek, David Fecek, and Daniel (Rose) Fecek, two sisters; Ronna “Cis” (Dana) Shaneyfelt and Danna “Dimples” (Bob) Krukowsky, and many nieces and nephews, three loving cats; Lilith Anne, Cooper James, and Finnegan Lee, and a large church family. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Joseph “Rusty” Jr. and George “Rick” Fecek, father and mother-in-law Robert E. and Martha S. Miller, and one niece, Rhiannon Krukowsky. Visitation will take place at the Erie Church of Christ, 2317 West Grandview Blvd., Erie, on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 1 pm until the time of a celebration of life service officiated by Brent Henderson at 4 p.m. with a dinner to follow. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
