Diane C. Stokes Snow Diane C. Stokes Snow, age 75, of Millcreek Twp., passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Millcreek Community Hospital. She was born on August 7, 1948 in East Cleveland, OH, the daughter of the late Donald C. and Belle L. Harrison Stokes. Diane was an educator for 7th through 12th graders at Trimble School District in Athens, OH. for many years. When she relocated to Erie, she worked for Home-In-Stead and also taught 500 adults to pass their GED. She enjoyed reading; especially the Word of the Lord, cross stitching, singing, Bassett Hounds, and taking drives around the Peninsula with her sister and brother-in-law while eating ice cream cones. She was fluent in both French and Spanish. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters; Gayle Merry, Natalie Slaton, and one nephew Ryan R. Lindsey. She is survived by one son Nathan Snow of Boynton Beach, FL, her sisters; Linda L. Stokes of OH, Randy Lisa Brutcher (John T.) of Erie, one brother Phil Stokes, Sr. (Patty), one granddaughter Annabella Snow, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. Services were privately held at the convenience of the family by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
